East Portland

My family and I moved to East Portland Oregon in the 1970's. At that time it really felt that anything on the East side of the Willamette River was East Portland. Later it became anything East of Laurelhurst Park counted as East Portland. Now I see some maps that only include communitites East of 82nd Ave. What do you think should be considered East Portland? For the purposes of this website any community or business located East of the Willamette River, and out to East 174th Avenue is East Portland, with the southern boundary ending at Clatsop Street, and the Northern boundary is the Columbia River (across from Washington state) as it always has been.
